Introducing Solo 2

AiM Solo 2 is the successor of AiM's renowned Solo lap timer, designed robustly for the demanding environments of motorsports. With an intuitive user interface, it facilitates a true Plug&Play experience, simplifying setup and usage.

This versatile lap timer is well-suited for various racing categories, notably car and bike racing. Its straightforward mounting allows for easy transitions between vehicles.

Employing GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou & Galileo technology, the Solo 2 receives signals from over 20 satellites ensuring a timing precision of less than 0.02 seconds. The GPS position is logged at 25 Hz for accurate lap times, speed, and acceleration calculations.

Easy handling of lap times

A built-in database of global tracks ensures easy lap time handling. Turn on the lap timer, and your lap times are automatic logged. If a track is missing, you can conveniently add it using the track learning function.

The predictive lap time function guides you directly on the track and tells throughout the lap if you are improving or losing time.

Data review on lap timer

Access key data like lap times and speed directly on the display with a few button presses, no download required. For in-depth analysis, use the complimentary Race Studio 3 software, available for data download via WiFi, eliminating cable hassle.

Free Data Analysis Software

If you prefer to dig deeper into the data recorded, the free Race Studio 3 is available. Here you analyze the data collected from corner to corner, looking into racing lines, brake zones, corner speeds and much more. Downloading of data is done through WiFi without the need to fit any cables.

Display customization

The Solo 2 lets you setup custom pages to display the exact information you desire. 5 pages with 1 to 4 data fields can be configured with data like lap times, -/+ best time, predictive lap timer, number of laps, speed and much more. With 8 background light colors to choose from, the Solo 2 can blend into any cockpit.

LED's to guide you

5 LED’s on each side of the Solo 2 visualize how the current lap time compares to your best lap. This can be the best lap from the actual run, the day or even a reference time loaded from Race Studio 3, maybe from last year, a teammate or even a competitor.

Flexible power supply

The internal battery sustains most racers for days. For extended use, switch to a 12-volt battery or ignition signal, also enabling auto power-up for the lap timer.
