Description

The sensor for measuring the Water Temperature is typically mounted on the cylinder head of the engine. If there is no dedicated hole for the sensor, it can be mounted with an adapter on the upper coolant hose of the engine. Kart engines often have a narrow temperature window where the performance is best. Running the engine too cold or too hot can also lead to damage to the engine.

Features

The AiM Water Temperature sensor has a small sensor tip that will rapidly detect any change in the coolant temperature. The measuring principle is a thermistor (TR). Temperatures from 0 to 150°C can be measured. The sensor has a cable length of 300 mm and ends in a Binder 719 4 pin connector.
