Description

The magnet lap sensor senses on magnetic stripes installed in the track. The sensor is normally not used on MyChron5 and newer lap timers with GPS integrated, only in case the GPS signal is blocked.

Features

The sensor is mounted on the floor tray of the kart with the cable pointing to the rear of the kart and a few centimeters distance to all steel tubes. Also important is not mount the sensor with big washers, as they can disturb the signal. 

​The cable length is 90 cm and the 4 pin metallic connector fits directly in the MyChron lap timer.
