Description

The contactless pedal position sensor is mounted on the pedal and the position can be analysed after driving to understand how the driver applies the throttle.

The sensor can be mounted on both the throttle and brake pedal, but for brake analysis, a pressure sensor in the brake line is the better choice.

Features

After installation on the kart and connection to MyChron Expansion, the signal is calibrated on the MyChron lap timer to read a 0-100% signal. The sensing distance is 5-40 mm. The signal is stored with data from the lap timer and, in conjunction with GPS data, it gives a great understanding of when and how much throttle is applied throughout the track.
