Description

The potentiometer is mounted on the steering column of the kart and the angle can be analysed after driving to understand how the driver turns the steering wheel. Furthermore, analysis of over or understeering can be made in Race Studio 3.

Features

After installation on the kart steering column and connection to MyChron Expansion, the signal is calibrated on the MyChron lap timer to read a -100-0-100% signal. The sensing range is 360°. The signal is stored with data from the lap timer and, in conjunction with GPS data, it gives a great understanding of how the driver operates the steering wheel into corners, at apex and out of corners.
