Description 

AiM Tire Temperature Sensors Kit measures the surface temperature of 4 tires with contactless infrared temperature sensors. 

Features

The 4 supplied infrared (IR) temperature sensors are connected to the IR temperature controller. The sensors are mounted pointing at the tires and measure the surface temperature in a range from -20 to 120°C. 

The controller itself connects to the EXP port of the MyChron5s lap timer.

With the IR temp controller a 12 volt power supply cable is also delivered, which not only supplies the controller with power but also charges the battery of the MyChron5s lap timer.

The data generated from the 4 sensors can be detailed analysed with Race Studio 3 software after each run, in conjunction with relevant data from the lap timer like track position, speed etc.
